Delicate on purpose
Care & keeping
These are gold-tone pieces, made to be treasured rather than thrown around. A small ritual keeps them looking like the day they arrived.
The ritual
Take them off before the shower, before sport and before sleep. Put them on last, after perfume and lotion have dried. That is the whole method — thirty seconds a day, and the shine stays for years.
Keep away from
- Water — showers, pools, the sea
- Perfume, hairspray and lotion
- Cleaning products of any kind
- Sport, and anything that means sweat
Storing
Keep each piece apart from the others. Metal against metal scratches plating faster than anything else you will do to it. The pouch it arrived in is there for that.
Somewhere dry, out of direct sun.
Cleaning
A soft dry cloth, gently. Nothing wet, no polish, no jewelry dip — those are made for solid metal and will strip a plated finish.
Being honest with you
A gold-tone finish is a layer, and layers wear. Treated kindly a piece keeps its finish for years; worn in the shower it will not. That is not a flaw to hide — it is why these pieces cost what they do instead of ten times more.
